As first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN the Browns have traded with the Miami Dolphins for WR Davone Bess. Miami has traded WR Davone Bess to Browns. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 26, 2013 In exchange for Bess the Browns and Dolphins will swap picks in two rounds, including the 4th round. In a draft where the Browns were short on picks they were able to add another player without losing any picks. For former Dolphin WR Davone Bess, MIA and CLEV swapped draft spots in two rounds, including the 4th rd. There were no actual pick given up. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 26, 2013 Bess had 61 catches for  778 yards and 1 touchdown last year in Miami.  In five years in Miami, Bess averaged 64 catches a season along with 689 yards. With the additions of Mike Wallace and Brandon Gibson to Miami’s receiving corp Bess and his 2.6 million contract became expendable. Having only averaged over 10 yards a reception once in his five years out of Hawaii, Bess will fit into a possession role for a group a wide receivers that features Josh Gordon, Greg Little, Travis Benjamin, and the newly signed David Nelson.   [Related: Cleveland Browns draft reset]
