PLAYERS: Josh Gordon
TEAMS: Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon has a massive tattoo that covers his entire back. According to Deadspin, on it you’ll find a koi, a geisha, his jersey number and I’m pretty sure that’s a weed plant in between his number. Personally I like tattoos so I think this is a masterpiece. Gordon needs to give his tattoo artist a shout-out.

Josh Gordon showcases new work on huge back tattoo

When we last left Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, he was starting to get the space around his preexisting ”Gordon 12″ filled in with a variety of items—including, but not limited to a giant Koi. Today, we see that Gordon, amidst his jet-setting and being a part of the Free Agent Welcome Wagon, has kept going to work on the rest of his back. See for yourself (click...

Courtney Brown – Worst DE pick in Browns history

There is no debate as to whom is the worst defensive end selection in Browns history. It’s Courtney Brown. Selected first overall in the 2000 NFL Draft, Brown only played 47 games in Cleveland, never coming close to reaching expectations. Over the course of his seven-year career, five with the Browns and two with the Broncos, Brown only played in all 16 games once, his rookie season...

Three questions about the Browns off-season (so far)

The Browns seemed to be set to be one of the most active teams in free agency as the period began. They signed Karlos Dansby and Donte Whitner very quickly and were off to the races. They followed that up with an offer sheet to Andrew Hawkins, a smaller move on special teamer Isaiah Trufant before making another marginally big splash over the weekend with running back Ben Tate. As...

Dumb Tweets: Ben Tate has fresh legs; Hoyer excited

The Cleveland Browns had a dynamic fist week of free agency. They replaced D’Qwell Jackson with Karlos Dansby, they replaced T.J. Ward with Donte Whitner, and they just signed running back Ben Tate to lead the ground game. Tate didn’t wait long to assert his skills: #Browns RB Ben Tate: “I’m only 25 years old. I’m just starting to reach my prime, so I would say my legs...

Browns meet with free agents DL Carrington, OL McQuistan

The Cleveland Browns reportedly met with Buffalo Bills free agent DL Alex Carrington and Seahawks OL Paul McQuistan, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. Carrington has experience with head coach Mike Pettine, who was defensive coordinator in Buffalo. He only played in three games (starting in each) before tearing a quadriceps that ended his season. He has 53 tackles and four...

Will Alex Mack’s future come down to who blinks first?

The transition tag is seldom used in the NFL. The Cleveland Browns and Alex Mack may be realizing why that is. When the decision was made, I wrote that the Browns were gambling a bit. Signs pointed to the Browns wanting to get a long term deal done with Mack, but needing more time to get the deal done. Since the transition tag was placed on Mack, and the one year offer was tendered...

WR Andrew Hawkins: I’m looking forward to coming out this year and playing 16 full games and proving my worth

New Cleveland Browns WR Andrew Hawkins signed a four-year, $13.6 million deal and the 5-foot-7, 180-pound slot receiver is just what the team need on offense. Hawkins can turn short passing plays into big chunks of yards with his speed. He's often been compared to 2013 rookie, St. Louis Rams' WR Tavon Austin and will be the No. 3 receiver in the passing game along with...

Best Team Pick: DE – Cleveland thought so high of Paul Wiggin, they drafted him early

Over the history of the Cleveland Browns, they have had some great defensive ends, such as Jim Houston and Bill Glass. The team drafted none of these guys though, so to find the best defensive end drafted by the Brownies, you have to go back to Paul Wiggin in the draft of 1956. Before getting to Wiggin’s actual career, it must be noted how crazy his actual drafting was.  Wiggin...

Browns sign WR Andrew Hawkins to four-year deal

The Cleveland Browns have signed Andrew Hawkins to a four-year deal worth $13.6 million. Cincinnati had until midnight to match Cleveland’s offer if they wanted to keep the 5-foot-7 slot receiver. Instead they passed, giving the Browns another target opposite of breakout wide receiver Josh Gordon and tight end Jordan Cameron. Bengals not matching Browns offer sheet for Wr Andrew...

Andrew Hawkins is bringing hard work and an interesting past to Cleveland

Yesterday, the Browns finally got the man they’ve been looking for when they stole Andrew Hawkins away from the Bengals. As Hawkins was a restricted free agent, Cincinnati had the option to match Cleveland’s offer of a four-year, $13.6 million contract, but after using five days to mull the decision over, they let their wide receiver walk. “I don’t want to let Andrew go without...

The ‘Baby Hawk’ is set to soar for the Browns in 2014…

After several days of jettisoning players off the Browns offense, good news finally arrived first with the signing of Ben Tate at running back, and then in the form of Andrew ‘Baby Hawk’ Hawkins, at wide receiver.   While bringing Hawkins into the fold may not be as exciting as the addition of Ben Tate, it represents a mini-trend of sorts in that the Browns have recently signed...

Browns Buzz: Don’t fret over Browns attendance at QB Pro Days

The Cleveland Browns are not doing things by the book when it comes to scouting and possibly drafting a quarterback at No.4 overall in the first round of the upcoming 2014 NFL Draft. The consensus top three quarterbacks available in this 2014 class are Blake Bortles, Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel. The trio has been up and down in stock over the past couple of weeks. Some say...

Bengals, QB Jason Campbell agree to one-year deal

Just one week after being cut by Cleveland, Jason Campbell already has a new job. The former Browns quarterback agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Bengals, according to ESPN.com. The move will reunite Campbell with Hue Jackson, which is good news for Campbell because the most successful span of his career came with Jackson in Oakland during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Jackson...

Andrew Hawkins is No.6: WR set to join Browns

Andrew Hawkins won’t officially become a member of the Cleveland Browns until midnight on Wednesday. Hawkins is still a restricted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals until the midnight deadline for the Bengals to match a four-year offer sheet that Hawkins signed with the Browns last week. The Bengals won’t be matching that offer. Cincinnati initially planned to match the...

Bengals Sign Jason Campbell

Jason Campbell has been reunited with Hugh Jackson. Adam Schefter is reporting that the vet has signed with the Bengals. Former Browns QB Jason Campbell reached agreement on a one-year deal with the Bengals. Now reunited with Hue Jackson. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 20, 2014 Campbell’s no threat to Andy Dalton, but he’s definitely a servicable back up in case of injury.
