The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have decided to shuffle the pieces of their offensive line in an effort to compensate for the loss of Pro Bowl left guard Carl Nicks.
With Nicks on injured reserve the Bucs have decided to move center Jeremy Zuttah to left guard and start Ted Larsen at center.
The Bucs spent the week working on several options in an attempt to fill the gaping hole left by the loss of Nicks, who is lost for the year with a torn plantar plate in his left big toe.
In addition to announcing the changes to their offensive line the Bucs also scratched running back Michael Smith, defensive back Keith Tandy, linebackers Najee Goode and Jacob Cutrera, guard Roger Allen and receiver Chris Owusu from the lineup for Sundays game.
