The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are growing tired of dealing with the New York Jets, seemingly going nowhere fast for their interest in conerback Darrelle Revis. It seems the New York Jets removed former general manager Mike Tannebaum, and replaced him with himself. New general manager John Idzik is making the same moves Tannebaum seemed to make, making one wonder who is truely running the show in New York? The moves have been puzzling, the signing of David Garrard to compete for a starting job (Yeah right), leaving Rex Ryan out of the loop on personnel decision, and the poor handling of cornerback Darrelle Revis. While San Francisco was able to find a suitor for Alex Smith in February, or Seattle’s whirlwind acquisition of wide receiver Percy Harvin, the Jets continue to screw up. According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, the Jets are on the verge of dropping the ball; the Buccaneers have worn tired of Idzik and the Jets demands for the rehabbing cornerback. Ryan came out and said: “I know for a fact that we’re not actively trying to trade Darrelle Revis. But if somebody calls, you listen,” Ryan said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post. What does that mean? The team was in talks with the Bucs, now they aren’t actively shopping the corner, is your head spinning yet? There is more as Rosenthal writes: ‘The Tampa Bay Times reported on Monday night that no deal for Revis is likely to come "for several more weeks." The New York Post said the Buccaneers are "losing patience" with the Jets. "It's amazing," a league source told the Post. "The Jets are going to screw this up." Just a week ago, the New York Daily News wrote that Revis and Jets were "headed for a divorce" and were "poised to trade" Revis in the coming days. PFT reported then that it was a matter of "when, not if" Revis was dealt. Separately, the site wrote the Jets had a "good offer" for Revis.’     var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
