The league has yet to hand down an official ruling regarding Eric Wright’s possible suspension, which was first reported by FOX’s Jay Glazer last Sunday. Today, a source from within the Buccaneers informed The Cave that Wright may not be suspended.  Jay Glazer tweeted that corner back Eric Wright would be suspended for four games for the use of Adderall, same drug Aqib Talib was suspended for. However, since that report, nothing has been said on the situation from either the league or the Bucs. A possibility was that Wright would be appealing the suspension until Talib returned from serving his ban. But since Talib was traded Thursday, it’s hard to say where the situation currently stands. Especially when the team has not heard from the league. So while the source was sure on his words that no suspension for Wright is likely, the possibility of a ban still exists for the simple fact that both sides-the NFL and the Bucs-have been pretty silent. With all that said, Eric Wright is listed as “probable” and will play on Sunday at Oakland after being listed on the injury report all week due to his Achilles.
