What's bugging me this week? How about the latest jail sentence for former New York Giants WR Plaxico Burress? In February 2008, Burress was on top of the world as he caught the game-winning touchdown from QB Eli Manning to help the Giants defeat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. Now, he may never be able to step foot in the NFL again. Last week, Burress accepted a settlement to spend two years in prison after pleading guilty for criminal possession of a weapon last season. Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh last November when he was walking up the stairs in a nightclub located in Manhattan, NY. Burress claims he brought the gun to the Manhattan nightclub because he felt "unsafe" and wanted to protect himself. For the record, I can understand why it's hard for some people to feel sorry for Burress when he made the decision to hang out at a place where he felt unsafe. However, his punishment for his actions on that night back in November...
