The Atlanta Falcons are starting their bye week in the NFL. While it comes at a decent time for the team, whereas they have a few key players on defense who will look to get healthy, it comes at a bad time for fans. Actually, there is no good time for a bye, unless your team is 0-7 and going nowhere fast.
So this will be a bit of a different week here at the Dirty Bird Blog. No Falcons fantasy analysis. No Atlanta previews or injury reports. No Falcons period, unless any big news comes out of their camp. This week, I’ll take a look at the rest of the league. Whether it is breaking news, such as Tony Romo possibly missing the rest of the season following another big hit on a quarterback by the New York Giants, or humorous information, such as cell phone companies contacting Brett Favre about doing a commercial, I will still do my best to keep things busy and entertaining around here over the next week.
