It's the first week of byes in the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens are one of six teams on a bye. Although it's early, the bye is perfect for Baltimore.
The Week 5 bye will give the Ravens time to get healthy. Lee Evans, Jimmy Smith, David Reed and Ben Grubbs are among the injured Ravens that have an extra week to get ready for the Week 6 game against Houston.
Evans has been resting his lower leg. Smith is recovering from a high ankle sprain suffered in Week 1 against the Steelers. Grubbs is on the way back from a toe injury. Reed is nursing a separated shoulder.
It's possible that every single one of these players will play next Sunday.
If that's the case, an already strong team gets even stronger when they resume their schedule next Sunday.
