If you haven't heard by now that Calvin Johnson is on the cover of Madden 13, get out from under your rock. As expected, the cover looks amazing, and will definitely be something I'm buying this year despite (a) a general lack of money and (b) little hope or faith left in the Madden game experience itself. Basically, I want this cover.
Yeah, so he's got the same look on his face that most of his teammates get when they see a big bag of weed, but who cares. Megatron is hungry for touchdowns, not munchies.
And hey, the last time the Madden cover wasn't cursed, a Lions player was on the cover.
[The Wayne Fontes Experience]
BEST OF MAXIM
Calvin Johnson: It is undisputable; Megatron puts up insane numbers and beats triple coverage no matter who is throwing the ball to him. You don’t get a name like Megatron unless you’re a complete monster, and this guy is a complete monster. This is one of the few guys you can’t ever leave on an island with Revis, and you better throw a safety over the top ever down.

ALLEN PARK, Mich. Since leading Boise State to 50 victories in four years to become college footballs all-time winningest quarterback, all Kellen Moore has heard is that he doesnt have the arm strength, height or athleticism to play in the NFL.

The Detroit Lions have reportedly offered former Green Bay Packer’s running back Ryan Grant a contract. He’s now visiting the team in Allen Park. Or is he not visiting? Another injury plagued running back? The last thing this team needs is another running back with injury issues. We need to stop messing around with these has-beens and never gonna-bees and go get somebody who...
