Once it was announced Calvin Johnson was active the next step was to determine how much he would play and how effective the superstar wide receiver would be.
Johnson typically plays around 90 percent of the Detroit Lions' offensive snaps when healthy but in the team's 31-17 win over the Cleveland Browns he was on the field for just a little more than half of the plays.
Anyone who watched the game could see Johnson was slowed by his ailing knee. He was held to three receptions for 25 yards and also dropped two passes. The good news for the Lions is the receiver's mere presence opened up some good coverage looks for teammates allowing the offense to be more effective.
