Once again, the New York Giants are in the same place as always as they are at this point of the regualr season.
They are one game up on the Redskins and Cowboys in the NFC East division and they have to beat the Saints in order to stay where they are.
And beating Drew Brees is never an easy thing to do. The history of the Giants facing Drew Brees hasn't been ever that good for Big Blue.
Drew Brees is 4-0 all time against the Giants and in all of those four games against the Giants. He has scored 40 points or more in those total of four games.
This game is the prefect opportunity for the Giants to get motivated into beating the Saints and hope that the Redskins lose to the Ravens and the Cowboys lose to the Bengals.
If all of those three things do happen this coming Sunday. Then the Giants will be in good shape only if those all of those three things happen.

There's more to the New Orleans Saints offense than Drew Brees these days, and the New York Giants know it.
While ranked 27th in the league in rushing, the Saints have a four-headed run attack that has averaged nearly 120 yards in the last five games.
What makes the Saints' running game interesting is that Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, Chris Ivory and Mark Ingram all have...

New York Giants defense takes aim at Drew Brees and the Saints
The New York Giants are mad. After their Monday night loss to the Redskins, those that are students of the game knew that they would be.
Atypically for them at this stage of the season that means that they next team up on their roster has to pay a large tax for the events of the game prior.

The Push for the Playoffs (NFC) – Week 14 Edition
Coming into the season, there weren’t many teams in the NFC that you could rule out of the playoffs. Rookie quarterbacks in Washington and Seattle? They’re in the think of things. The New York Giants’ defense had a hard time with Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III this past Monday night. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is happy that they’ll be playing a typical offense then they play the Saints on Sunday.

Osi praises Brees despite teammate Rolle's lecture
The other day Antrel Rolle went on a mini-rant scolding his New York Giants teammates for gushing over opponent Robert Griffin III before the team played the Washington Redskins.
Yesterday, despite Rolle's call for his team to get "back to being nasty," Osi Umenyiora was downright complimentary towards Drew Brees — the quarterback the Giants will face this Sunday...
Saints draw inspiration from Giants' playoff run
The New Orleans Saints know they are long shots to make the playoffs even if they beat the New York Giants on Sunday.
Still, they haven't given up - taking inspiration from the Giants, who made a postseason run from a position similar to one in which the Saints find themselves now.
''We saw what they did last year,'' Saints cornerback Jabari Greer said. '...
Five Keys for the Giants to Defeat the New Orleans Saints
Here they are again, another December crossroads for the New York Giants. After a great win against the Green Bay Packers, the Champs seemed on their way to a possible second seed. Here’s the thing though, that is not how this era of Giants football does it.
They torture the fans and give them good drama from now till February. After last Monday, they will have to kick off this...
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants: Week 14 NFL Pick
New Orleans Saints (5-7) at New York Giants (7-5)
Earlier this week, I outlined why the Redskins should be considered the favorites to win the NFC East. The Redskins, presumably, have the tiebreaker, by virtue of their better divisional record. They are a game back right now, but they are almost definitely going favored in each of their last four games, while the Giants will be favored...
