They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. I tend to think there are a few other ways, but I digress.
Tuesday, Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson posted a picture of him and his girlfriend, Chantel Jeffries in the kitchen cooking up a little more that breakfast with the caption:
That morning Breakfast b #Bomb
As reported by Larry Brown Sports, the two have been dating since January, and frequently flirt with each other over social media. Jeffries, a model who say she’s studying acting, heavily promotes Basketball Wives’ Draya’s clothing line Fine Ass Girls and has claimed that Playboy online has published photos of her.
Not surprisingly, this is not Chantel’s first athlete boyfriend. She previously dated Diddy’s son Justin, a football player at UCLA.
There is no question that Chantel is an attractive young woman and at least she knows her way around the kitchen enough to cook breakfast, which is definitely a plus, but I’ll be really impressed when she puts that Sunday dinner on the table.

According to ESPN’s John Clayton, Chip Kell’t uptempo offense should present more oppurtunites for wide receiver DeSean Jackson to get the ball in his hands more this coming season. A move that surprised many, the Philadelphia Eagles drafted quarterback Matt Barkley out of the University of Southern California in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft. The Eagles were originally linked to having interest in Geno Smith and E.J. Manuel, but they ended up passing on both of them as they filled other important positions before making the plunge at quarterback.... Read more
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce told the media on Tuesday that his knee will be 100 percent healthy in time for training camp.

As we all saw last year, the Eagles clearly missed having Kelce on the field last season.

A lot of PR juice out there about Eagles' WR Jason Avant being challenged to step up and take over a leadership role not just on the offense but on the team...
That's a lot of pressure to put on a guy who's simply trying to make the team.
It sure doesn't help when your new head coach says, "Hey buddy! How's about taking some reps at cornerback?"...
It's an all too familiar scenario for the Eagles secondary coaches in recent years... a once-great but now injured veteran safety is signed on a low-risk high-reward contract ...and it ends up going nowhere.
It's too early to throw Kenny Phillips under the bus... but it's not looking real good right now.
