Cardinals C Lyle Sendlein Out For Season With A Torn MCL

Cardinals center Lyle Sendlein is expected to miss the final five games of the season after suffering a left knee injury against the Rams last Sunday, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic who cites an NFL source. Sendlein suffered what’s believed to be a torn MCL in the Cardinals first possession, a 91-yard touchdown drive. He was examined on the sideline and returned to the game, playing in all 79 offensive plays. Tests on Monday revealed the torn ligament, and Sendlein will need surgery.
