Cardinals free safety Kerry Rhodes took part in his first extended practice Wednesday since suffering the injury Oct. 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. The timetable for Rhodes' return is unknown. Rhodes is testing the foot in practice and did more Wednesday than planned. "Now I'll see how I'll feel tomorrow," Rhodes said. "Even if I play this week, I know I'm not ready to play a whole game." Rhodes' injury was severe enough that the team could have placed him on injured reserve, ending his season. But "the reason we didn't put him down or wanted to get him back was because he was playing so well," Whisenhunt said. Coaches already have told Rhodes how he will be used upon his return. "I'm not going to talk about it, but I know what we're going to do," Rhodes said.
