Found October 11, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
It appears the Arizona Cardinals are getting healthy just in time for their week 6 divisional matchup with the San Francisco 49ers’, according to their official web page. While several players were reportedly limited in practice on Thursday—such as All-Pro Larry Fitzgerald and inside linebacker Kevin Minter—none of them seem to be in any danger of missing Sunday’s contest. In fact, several of the players that were limited in practice this week were likely being given extra rest in anticipation of what is sure to be a grueling road game. Interestingly enough, it looks like safety Rashad Johnson will be able to return to the field this weekend as well. Johnson lost the tip of his finger during a collision in a game earlier this season. It was one of the more gruesome on-field incidents in recent memory. Perhaps even more unbelievably, Johnson was actually willing to return to the field much sooner than this. However, doctors were afraid that he would do further damage to the remainder of the finger if Johnson had played before it was completely healed. Essentially, Johnson risked losing the rest of his finger if he had played. Obviously after such an amazing ordeal, fans will be delighted to see Johnson back on the field in Cardinals’ red. Here is the official practice participation report for the Arizona Cardinals according to their official web page: OLB John Abraham (shoulder) – Full Participation in PracticeILB Jasper Brinkley (groin) – Full Participation in PracticeG Daryn Colledge (shin) – Full Participation in PracticeILB Kenny Demens (hamstring) – Limited Participation in PracticeDT Darnell Dockett (groin) – Full Participation in PracticeWR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) – Limited Participation in PracticeS Rashad Johnson (finger) – Full Participation in PracticeILB Kevin Minter (hamstring) – Limited Participation in PracticeDE Ronald Talley (wrist) – Limited Participation in PracticeILB Daryl Washington (knee) – Full Participation in PracticeFollow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?

Andre Ellington is a very solid fantasy football pick up in week 6

Andre Ellington’s skill set is different from other’s in the NFL.  The former Clemson Tiger was a terror in college, but had a poor pro-day which eventually cost him his draft fall. He has great explosion but doesn’t have as much power as some backs in the NFL.  He’s a smaller back — he stands […]

Cardinals' Bowles proving doubters wrong

TEMPE, Ariz. -- There were more than a few raised eyebrows in Tempe when Cardinals coach Bruce Arians named Todd Bowles his defensive coordinator this offseason. To begin with, Bowles was replacing Ray Horton, who had turned an underachieving defense into one of the league's better units. But Bowles was also coming off a disastrous run as the Eagles defensive coordinator in 2012...

Arians blasts NFL for 'Hard Knocks'

The NFL secured the future of HBO's "Hard Knocks" this week, reserving the right to "compel" teams to participate. There was expected to be some pushback against the new directive, and Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians is leading the charge. Arians, who is in his first year with the Cardinals, isn't the type to want his team's laundry aired out in...

Cardinals’ TE Rob Housler hoping to shake off early errors

The Cardinals called tight end Rob Housler’s number last week against the Panthers but he didn’t answer. Housler dropped one pass. He didn’t see another thrown ball because he and quarterback Carson Palmer had a miscommunication on a route. On another play Housler lined up wrong resulting in a penalty for an illegal formation. It was not a good Sunday for Housler who isn’t...

Larry Fitzgerald is Questionable

Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) is questionble for Week 6 against the 49ers, according to Kent Somers of AZCentral.com.Fantasy Spin:Fitzgerald's hamstring injury is in a different spot than earlier this season. He'll probably play through the injury but will struggle to put up fantasy-worthy numbers as he has in the last four weeks. The Cardinals play at 4...

Arizona Cardinals: 2013 Week 6 NFL Power Rankings (#20)

Last week: 20 (+0) Record: 3-2 The Cardinals are 3-2 right now. That isn’t a huge shock. They had an over/under for their win total of 5.5 and teams with totals under 6 hit the over about 2/3rds of the time (Oakland and Jacksonville also had totals under 6 this year). A lot of times, bad teams are better than people think and I think the Cardinals have proved that. That being said...

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers: 2013 Week 6 NFL Pick

Arizona Cardinals (3-2) at San Francisco 49ers (3-2) Remember when everyone freaked out just because the 49ers lost 2 of 3 games. Good times. Losing 2 of 3 games isn’t a big deal. It’s just more noticeable at the start of the season. They’ve won the last two games by a combined score of 69-14. However, everything is still not as perfect as it seemed coming into the season....

49ers vs Cardinals: Quick Gameday Preview

The Cardinals begin the 2013 season with a new head coach, new quarterback and new expectations.
