Cardinals president Michael Bidwill told reporters on Monday that he is “not willing to give up on Kevin Kolb yet.” “That’s one of the questions we will really focus on with the coaching staff candidates,” Bidwill said, via azcardinals.com. “How do we see about Kevin and his performance and how we can turn him into the quarterback of the future here for the Cardinals and make that decision, if he is the right guy?“ The Cardinals will have to decide whether or not keep Kolb despite his  $9 million base salary for the 2013 season. Kolb also has a $2 million roster bonus that will be due in March, so it seems unlikely that they would be willing to keep him at that price, especially when you consider that none of it is guaranteed. The fact that Arizona will be hiring a new general manager and head coach in the coming weeks also suggests that Kolb is a long-shot to return.
