After taking a knee to the head in a week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb was diagnosed with a concussion and was forced to sit out the rest of the season. He was replaced by second year man, John Skelton, but many fans felt disappointed that the quarterback that the team invested so heavily in was only able to truly play in eight games. Yesterday, Kolb sent a text message to XTRA 910's Mike Jurecki regarding his health: "Cardinal fans Kevin Kolb update, via text he mentioned he's feeling good & ready to get back to work." It's still a while away, but Kolb will now be able to participate in OTAs, workouts and mini-camps without the fear of aggravating an ongoing injury. His turf toe injury should be completely healed up by then as well, so the ensuing competition between him and John Skelton should be a good one.

Cards need better QB play, not Haley
Theres been a lot of angst, energy and discussion spent on Todd Haleys potential return to the Cardinals.

If you think QB play was partially a product of coaching, well, the Cardinals...
