It doesn’t matter how or when you win, just as long as you win.
The Arizona Cardinals proved that statement to be true Saturday night against the Houston Texans, scoring all 19 points in the 4th quarter to seal the deal.
Even though things weren’t going exactly their way for the first three quarters, the Cardinals never gave up. Players, and especially the rookies, never took a play off. They may have been beat on certain routes, but they continued to stay aggressive. That aggressiveness paid off when it counted most.
The Texans started off the game scoring on their first two drives. Kicker Kris Brown scored the first field goal off the game, followed by quarterback Matt Schaub connecting with wide receiver Andre Johnson for a 44-yard TD.
Although they had plenty of opportunities to extend a commanding lead, the Texans red-zone offense were no match to the Cardinals red-zone defense. The defense forced a fumble on the one yard line as well as stopping the team from scori...
