Cardinals strong safety Adrian Wilson, who has played in more games as an Arizona Cardinal than any other player, sees his time with the franchise ending in three weeks, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports. Wilson’s role has diminished in recent weeks, and he doubts he will be with the team beyond this year. “It hurts,” Wilson said. “It hurts. They can give you 1,000 reasons why that is, but I know I can still play football. It’s tough right now.” Wilson obviously was downcast after the 58-0 loss to Seahawks, a game in which he hardly played in the second half. “This is the lowest of the low, to be quite honest with you,” Wilson said. “Something like this will make you not want to play anymore.” His declining playing time “definitely makes me ponder about my future,” he said. “I love the guys that I play with and I love this organization. It’s tough to take right now.” Wilson, in his 12th season, said he can still be a leader even though he’s playing less. “I think guys still look up to me and look up to the way that I work,” he said. “I’m not a hard guy to read. I wear my emotions on my sleeves, and I try my best to just go out and practice hard. “We have three more games left, and I’m going to try my best, to play those three games hard and see what happens after that.”. Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic writes that Adrian Wilson‘s time with Cardinals could be coming to an end following the team’s final three games of the season. Wilson’s playing time has been reduced in recent weeks, which has him wondering how much longer he’ll be a part of the Cardinals organization. “It hurts,” Wilson said. “It hurts. Vince Young to Fitzy: I can help

Vince Young has joined the ranks of the other once-great athletes who have to beg for a job on Twitter. See what he said to Larry Fitzgerald.

Larry Fitzgerald wants to stay with Cardinals, believes team has not quit

While his father believes the Arizona Cardinals have quit on the season, wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has a different take. “We’re professionals. That will never happen,” Fitzgerald said in his weekly interview with Dial Global Radio. “We’re going to continue to play. We’re going to continue to practice. We’re going to continue to prepare every week like we would...

Vince Young tells Larry Fitzgerald that he can help the Cardinals

Free agent quarterback Vince Young is so desperate to play in the NFL again he tweeted Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald telling him talk to head coach Ken Wisenhunt because he believes he can help them. @larryfitzgerald you know I can help tell coach. — Vince Young (@VinceYoung) December 9, 2012 If Young was still a viable NFL quarterback he wouldn’t have been cut by...

Mind-blowingly awful week for Cardinals

TEMPE, Ariz. There are weeks to remember, weeks to forget and weeks when you consider a full frontal lobotomy. Yeah. The latter was the Cardinals week. Lets review while stretching the definition of week in a Beatles, eight-days-a-week kind of way. On Dec. 2, following a mind-numbing (we do like to stay consistent with our themes) 7-6 loss to the Jets, defensive tackle Darnell...

Embattled coach, Cards vow to keep fighting

TEMPE, Ariz. The only significant news coming from the Cardinals complex on Monday was that there was no news, unless you count Darnell Docketts running feud with head coach Ken Whisenhunt, which is actually old news. Nobody was talking about imminent change. Whisenhunt is still the coach. Ray Horton is not. Rod Graves is still the general manager. Mike Miller is still the offensive...

NFL Rumors: Vince Young Tweets Larry Fitzgerald To Put In Good Word With Arizona Cardinals For QB Job

The Arizona Cardinals were just on the receiving end of one of the worst blow outs in the history of the National Football League, losing a road game by the score of 58-0 to the Seattle Seahawks. The Cards committed eight turnovers in the ugly loss. Vince Young is still a former Pro-Bowl quarterback out of work, who seemed to have let himself go. He claims he is not broke, but many...

Cards make it clear: Time for Whisenhunt to go

Theres no sense belaboring this. Michael Bidwill should fire coach Ken Whisenhunt, and he should do it now. It will be an empty gesture. Nobodys going to win with the offense the Cardinals trot on the field each week. Nobodys going to win with John Skelton and Ryan Lindley at quarterback. Nobodys going to win with eight turnovers. It will be a reactionary gesture, too. But you...

Seahawks Fan Has This Amazing Sign Ripped From His Hands By Cardinals DE Calais Campbell

Remember when the Cardinals started the season 4-0 and were the cute team in the NFC? Heading into Sunday’s game at Seattle they were sitting at 4-8, riding an eight game losing streak. Larry Fitzgerald doesn’t agree with his dad’s assessment of the Cardinals

Larry Fitzgerald’s dad went on a Twitter rant the other day and made it clear that he believes the Arizona Cardinals have thrown in the towel on this season. During an interview with Jim Gray on Dial Global Sports, Fitzgerald said that he doesn’t agree with his father’s opinion. “I’m in a unique situation with my father being a media member,” Fitzgerald said, via ProFootballTalk...
