ESPNs Adam Schefter writes that the Arizona Cardinals still have no idea if Kevin Kolb or John Skelton will end up being their starting quarterback this season. Schefter seems to think that Kolb has the better chance, which really isnt all that surprising when you consider how much the Cardinals are paying him this year. The fact that Kolb seems to be unable to separate himself from from average-at-best competition is a huge concern and will likely have an impact on the contracts of backup quarterbacks in the years to come.

My Dinner with Adam Schefter
Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner with ESPN’s Adam Schefter in New York City. It was quite the experience for me as a blogger and football fan. Adam Schefter the person was just as impressive as Adam Schefter the reporter.
There were many stories that were exchanged over the evening most off the record and there was the occasional argument over different player...

ARIZONA CARDINALS:
2011 RECORD – 8-8: My favorite bizarro fact about the 2011 Arizona Cardinals? Despite being saddled with the anti-awesome twosome (Kevin Kolb and John Skelton) at quarterback, 13 of Arizona’s 16 games were decided by seven points or less. The Cardinals...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Detroit Lions have cut cornerback Aaron Berry after being arrested for assault and DUI this offseason.
This doesn’t come as a surprise since Berry isn’t a big name like Nick Fairley. I’d be surprised if Berry gets picked up by anyone.
