The Oakland Raiders are reportedly interested in running back Cedric Benson, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Benson is a tough inside runner and would be viewed as a replacement for power back Michael Bush, who packed his bags for Chicago in the offseason. He would most notably provide quality insurance for injury-prone starter Darren McFadden, and an essential fantasy handcuff if the Raiders end up inking Benson to a deal.
