A Thanksgiving Day practice gave the Chargers reason to be thankful Starting nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin returned to practice Thursday ahead of schedule from a knee injury suffered Nov. 11. Franklin missed last Sunday's game against the Broncos and was originally expected to be sidelined a couple weeks. It was hardly all good news, though. Left tackle Jared Gaither (groin), left guard Tyronne Green (hamstring), wide receiver Eddie Royal (hamstring) and outside linebacker Larry English (calf) missed another day of practice.
