Last year around this time, Kansas City Chiefs receiver Jon Baldwin looked pretty good in minicamp, impressing many who had high hopes for him in the regular season, but once the pads came on, he all but dissappeared. This year's start looks to be identical... so far. Baldwin was in the starting lineup Wednesday after being relegated to second string behind Donny Avery on Tuesday, and he's once again turning a few heads. “Jon is working hard,’’ new head coach Andy Reid said, via Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star. “He is a unique specimen being as big as he is. He can do some things that other people can’t do just by size and strength. It’s important he puts himself into the position to do that. He’s working hard to do that. He had actually a good day today." “He’s young. Developing as a receiver in the National Football League takes time in a lot of cases. He needs to continue to work at it.
