Kansas City Chiefs linebacker coach Gary Gibbs has to develop a linebacker coach across from Tamba Hali.  Gibbs enters year 3 with the Chiefs in 2011 after previously serving with the New Orleans Saints as a defensive coordinator. Veteran outside linebacker Mike Vrabel left to coach at Ohio State which makes Gibbs job of finding a starter at 3-4 rush linebacker across from Tamba Hali even tougher at this point.  Right now third round pick Justin Houston is the frontrunner to be that starter across from Tamba Hali.  Houston fell to the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft, but many 2011 NFL Mock Drafts had Georgia pass rusher Justin Houston going in the first round. The Chiefs now will have two hybrid linebackers if Justin Houston wins the starting job. Tamba Hali was a 4-3 defensive end/3-4 outside linebacker coming out of Penn State as a first round pick and that is exactly what you get with Justin Houston who you can use as a bookend rush linebacker to compliment Hali.
