Chiefs sign their first and 5th overall draft pick DT Glenn Dorsey.

My Kansas City Chiefs finally signed DT Glenn Dorsey early saturday morning with a 5 year $51 million deal. Reports show that $23 million is guaranteed money. With the off season loss of Jared Allen who led the NFL with 15.5 sacks, the Chiefs will be looking for Dorsey to make an immediate impact on the defensive line. Dorsey made a name for himself at LSU with whom he won the National Championship last year defeating the Ohio State Buckeyes. Dorsey who stands at 6-1 296 lbs will be a driving force along with Tamba Hali, Alfonso Boone and the rest of the defensive line. Gunther Cunningham is a great defensive coordinator and will be detrimental to the success of not only Dorsey but the entire defense. Chiefs also recently signed OT Branden Albert.
