Need another reason as to why Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley might want to run up the score up against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday night?
Jay Glazer reported Sunday morning on the Fox pregame show that the Chiefs still have yet to pay Haley what was remaining on his contract after firing him late last season. Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports 910 in Phoenix reported back in January that he was hearing that the Chiefs were refusing to pay the final year of Haleys contract "for cause".
Haley was expected to file a grievance, but not much has been reported about that since then, but Glazer reported Sunday that the two sides are still in legal discussions about the matter.
Haley had made accusations that the Chiefs bugged portions of the team facility and tampered with his cell phone, so you can bet that his hatred for Chiefs General Manager Scott Pioli has several layers to it. Source: SteelersDepot.com Attached Thumbnails

Five Ways To Fix The Disaster That Is The Kansas City Chiefs
There were high hopes coming into the 2012 season for the Kansas City Chiefs. They had a solid offseason, adding Stanford Rout, Eric Winston, and Peyton Hillis to a team that already had some good talent. The fans had hopes of their first postseason win since January of 1994 but the playoffs are the furthest thing from their mind now. Fans are now focused on what needs to be done...
Chiefs penalized for excessive celebration on touchdown that didn’t count
The 1-7 Kansas City Chiefs were penalized in their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night for excessive celebration on a touchdown that didn’t end up counting. I didn’t even know that was possible. The Steelers had a third-and-seven play from their 26 during the third quarter when backup quarterback Byron Leftwich had the ball knocked out of his hand. Linebacker...
Out of Bounds: Marty Ball Part 2?
Will former Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach, Marty Schottenheimer, join the organization in an advisory capacity? Or will Team Owner, Clark Hunt, maintain the status quo for one more season?
Monday Night Football Drinking Game Week 10: Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers
Welcome back, drinking game fans.
My apologies for taking last week off. I have no good excuses, so I will ask you to accept this video of a chimpanzee riding a Segway as a token of my regret and a thank you for you returning this week.
Wasn’t that awesome?
Now, when we last talked we were prepping for the 49ers to beat down the Cardinals, and they followed through nicely....
Chiefs Deny Report Owner Clark Hunt Met With Marty Schottenheimer
SiriusXM NFL Radio reported that former Chiefs coach Marty Schottenheimer was at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday to meet with Hunt, who is in Kansas City, DeAnn Smith of KCTV 5 in Kansas City reports.
The team flatly denies that Schottenheimer was at the practice facility today.
However, left unclear was whether Schottenheimer and Hunt met at a different location, met earlier this...
Jon Baldwin To Be More Involved?
Can I rise to the occasion Juan?
Jon Baldwin was on a tear this Summer and looked like he had a shot at breaking out. Well, the entire Chiefs offense has been in neutral for most of the season and their QB situation is a mess. Still, the Chiefs need to see what they have in Baldwin for 2013 and beyond as Dwayne Bowe will most likely been gonesky.
Crennel said: “He has not produced...
Quinn inactive for Chiefs; Polamalu for Steelers
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn is inactive for Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the second straight game he will miss due to a concussion.
Matt Cassel will start for the Chiefs and Ricky Stanzi will be the backup. Wide receiver Steve Breaston is also inactive for Kansas City.
The Steelers made safety Troy Polamalu inactive for the fifth straight...
Backfield clarity only place Chiefs edge Steelers
In a season during which very little has gone right for the Kansas City Chiefs this season, running back Jamaal Charles is the exception.
A year removed from a knee injury that limited him to just two games, Charles is ninth in the NFL in rushing and perhaps the only reliable weapon the struggling Chiefs (1-7) have on offense heading into Monday night's game against surging...
Monday Night Football: Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers Preview and Prediction
Before playing five games within the division to end the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Pittsburgh.
The Chiefs are tied with the Jaguars for the fewest wins in the NFL this season, with one. The Steelers are holding onto the last playoff spot in the AFC, so this game is a must-win for them if they intend to make the playoffs.
Mike Tomlin and...
Fantasy Football Week 10 Preview: Chiefs at Steelers
Kansas City: Ugly ugly ugly… and no, I’m not just talking about Romeo Crennel’s chances of being a head coach after this season, or even Scott Pioli’s chances of not being run out of town on a rail before 2013 kicks off. No, I’m just talking about the Chiefs’ chance of actually having anything useful fantasy-wise during a visit to Pittsburgh. The Steelers are playing...
Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers: Week 10 NFL Pick
Kansas City Chiefs (1-7) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)
The Chiefs have yet to lead in regulation through 8 games, the first time a team has done that since 1929 and that team folded after the season. Actually, they were also the first team to do that through 7 games since 1929 as well. However, they aren’t the worst team in the NFL. They don’t rank dead last in either rate of...
MNF – Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Unless you are a fan of either team, or need you need your kicker to win your fantasy week like me – there isn’t much to watch in this dud of a Monday nighter to conclude week 10. I was big on the Chiefs this year, and wrote off last season due to their injuries. They run the ball well, and have above average talent on defence, and a big target at WR in Dwayne Bowe. I solely...
Steelers Survive In Overtime, Beat Chiefs 16-13
The Steelers edged the woeful Kansas City Chiefs 16-13 in overtime on Monday night but lost Ben Roethlisberger for most of the second half and perhaps a lot longer with a right shoulder injury.
Roethlisberger left the game early in the third quarter after getting slammed to the turf by Kansas City linebackers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston and did not return.
The Steelers...
With Leather’s Watch This: Oh Thank God We Get To Watch The Chiefs Tonight
I’m not going to pile on the Kansas City Chiefs like I did with the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, because that’s low hanging fruit and people have already complained enough about them being on Monday Night Football. I also won’t ***** about it, because the Chiefs are going to be the main reason that this game will be hilarious, specifically because Pittsburgh Steelers offensive...
