Reports have been confirmed that Christian Ponder is INACTIVE for tonight’s Packers vs Vikings game. Ponder is suffering from bursitis in his throwing elbow, an injury which takes weeks to fully heal. Despite the bumpy season Ponder has had he did manage to save his best performance for last with the week 17 victory vs the Packers. Was there a momentum he was riding which would’ve translated to this game? That we’ll never know, but the odds of Ponder outplaying Aaron Rodgers again were most likely slim Joe Webb is slated to start, Webb hasn’t played a down of football in a year. It’s a gamble the Vikings are willing to take at the last moment, no matter what though, the key will be to give Peterson the ball.
