The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off back-to-back playoff appearances, led by youngsters A.J. Green and Andy Dalton. Make no mistake -- A.J. Green is safe in Cincinnati for as long as he wants to be.However, there is a lot of buzz around Cincinnati about whether or not Dalton, the team's quarterback, is on thin ice. Let's look at the facts. In 32 starts with the Bengals, Dalton has thrown 47 touchdowns to only 29 interceptions. That's a positive. He's also thrown for over 7,000 yards over those two seasons. Another decent number. So why the speculation? For one, he has been abysmal in both of his postseason games against Houston. Those two games have seen Dalton throw four interceptions and not even one touchdown. Additionally, this past January, he was only able to muster 127 yards while completing under 50 percent of his passes. Thus, here comes the criticism. While at TCU, Dalton was a much more mobile quarterback than he is in the NFL, which I'm in favor of. Wh...

Tyler Eifert to open up the Bengals offense?

Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and now new addition Tyler Eifert hope to bring the Cincinnati Bengals back into the playoff race. Just a few years removed from sweeping the AFC North, the Bengals are hoping Eifert is the missing piece. At 6’6 and 250lbs, Tyler Eifert won the John Mackey Award as the nations top tight end in 2012. He was the career leader for Notre Dame with 140 receptions...

Bengals set for another 'Hard Knocks'

The widespread public perception of the Cincinnati Bengals franchise before its "Hard Knocks" appearance in 2009 was that of a laughingstock -- or worse. The Bengals were riddled with player arrests during the previous three years. Team management was regarded as inept. The on-field results were just as ugly. The Bengals slid from being the 2005 AFC North champions to...

Bengals out to change image, perception

CINCINNATI Mike Brown remembers walking into his fathers office full of confidence. This was back in the 1980s when he was just starting to take over some of the day-to-day operations from his dad, Hall of Fame coach and Bengals team founder Paul Brown. Mike Brown liked Stanley Wilson. He wanted the best for Stanley Wilson. And, yes, Mike Brown believed Stanley Wilson could help...

Bengals release Travelle Wharton

The Bengals have released guard Travelle Wharton, who tore up his right knee during the first preseason game last year and missed the season. Wharton signed with the Bengals after spending eight seasons at Carolina, where he started 99 games at guard and tackle. The Bengals installed him as their starting left guard, but he hurt his knee on the third play of the preseason opener...

Wharton Released by Bengals

Bengals left guard Travelle Wharton was released on Monday. He suffered a season-ending, knee injury on the third play of last year's exhibition game against the Jets.Fantasy Spin:Wharton started all 16 games in 2011 for Carolina and was expected to help anchor the Cincinnati offensive line, but never played a down for the Bengals. This shouldn't change anything for the Cincinnati offense.

‘Hard Knocks’ Teaser — KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cincinnati Bengals HBO has put out a couple trailers for the upcoming season of “Hard Knocks”. Because they can’t start filming until the Bengals report for camp , it’s either mixed footage from the previous Bengals season of “Hard Knocks” or intense footage of this CGI tiger. I feel cheated being teased with the idea of a tiger being...

Fantasy Outlooks: Cincinnati Bengals

QUARTERBACK This is the year Andy Dalton needs to take a step forward or forever be an average NFL quarterback. Dalton is currently a decent spot starter and QB2, but definitely has the potential to be a serviceable QB1 this season at the very least. He's worth taking as a backup with potential at the very least. RUNNING BACK The running back situation in Cinci...
