The Cincinnati Bengals have secured their special teams unit. They have kept the defensive line solid. Most players on this back-to-back playoff team were not free agents, anyway, so the Bengals are looking good as the off season progresses.With the Pittsburgh Steelers faltering last season as they were finally overcome by age, and, seemingly in the process of rebuilding, they don't look to compete for the AFC North title.The defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens have experienced a mass exodus in free agency. The Bengals' coach Marvin Lewis says that Baltimore has a plan and they are still formidable.Perhaps. I know Lewis knows more about it than I do, but it seems to me young players should step up and earn jobs before the older players are released (which is how Lewis is handling things in Cincy).In Baltimore the old guys led them to a championship and, in many cases, are now gone.
