Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham and teammate Andrew Whitworth (LT) have been added to the 2013 Pro Bowl roster. Both were originally voted as first alternates.Gresham, who is making his second trip in as many years, will be replacing the injured Pittsburgh Steelers tight end, Heath Miller, who tore an ACL in Pittsburgh's Week 16 loss to Cincinnati.Whitworth is making his first appearance, replacing the Denver Broncos' offensive tackle, Ryan Clady, who played with an injured shoulder in the Broncos' upset loss to Baltimore in the Divisional round of the playoffs. At 6' 5", 260 pounds, Gresham, who wears No. 84, has proven difficult for opposing defenses to cover, with the length and athletic ability to get up and over defensive backs, and even harder to get on the ground as his size, along with a powerful stiff-arm helps to generate a lot of yards after the catch. These traits allowed him to haul in 64 receptions for 737 yards and five touchdowns, top 10 among NFL tight ends in all three categories.A former Oklahoma Sooner, Gresham was selected by Cincinnati with the 21st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. As a Bengal, he has become one of quarterback Andy Dalton's favorite weapons and has earned the distinction of being the first Bengals' tight end to catch over 50 passes three years in a row.The massive Andrew Whitworth, standing 6' 7" and weighing in at 330 pounds, was drafted by Cincinnati out of LSU in the second round with the 55th over all pick of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has been the Bengals' starting left tackle for the past four seasons, three of which Cincinnati made the playoffs.Considered to be one of the team's strongest leaders, Whitworth has anchored a Bengals offensive line widely regarded to be among the league's elite. Whitworth is very active in the Cincinnati community through his BigWhit77 foundation, as well as being the Bengals NFLPA player representative. Ranking at the top of the NFL's left tackles for years, No. 77's Pro Bowl nod is way over due.Gresham and Whitworth will be joining team mates WR A. J. Green, and defensive tackle Geno Atkins in the 2013 Pro Bowl, marking two years in a row with four Pro Bowl Bengals players.
