Brandon Weeden just isn’t cutting it in Cleveland in the minds of some fans. The Browns seemed to have some semblance of a shot this season, but one fan has grown impatient with the team’s quarterback, so that fan has taken to the best place to find whatever random thing you are looking for — Craigslist — in search of a new signal caller. Weeden has a 71.4 passer rating and has thrown for 1,005 yards and four touchdowns this season, and is coming off of an exceptionally dismal weekend against the Detroit Lions. According to that Browns fan, someone who has maybe seen a football once or twice in their life could do a better job than Weeden has. “Have you played pro football? College ball? Highschool? Pee-wee?  Have you played Madden before?” The ad begins. “Do you sort of kind of know some of the rules of football? If yes keep reading. If no…well also keep reading! We will take ANYONE. This could turn into a regular gig for the right person.” The Browns are 3-3 this season, and led 1...

Video: Cleveland Browns fan burns Brandon Weeden jersey

Nobody in Browns town likes it when the Browns lose, but one fan apparently hated it so much that he filmed the burning of his Brandon Weeden jersey. As I stated on Twitter last week, I haven’t bought a Browns jersey since my Kellen Winslow one was rendered useless. I bet this Browns fan wishes he could say the same. Or maybe pyromania is more exciting than not wasting money on...

NFL News: Cleveland Browns stick with Brandon Weeden as starter

The Browns surprised few today when Rob Chudzinski announced that they were sticking with Brandon Weeden as starter. Sure, Weeden might have thrown one of the worst passes in NFL history yesterday in a loss to the Detroit Lions, but who else were they going to use? Did you also forget that Jason Campbell’s brief appearance for the Browns in the second game of the year also included...

Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming a beer at a Cleveland Browns tailgate (pic)

Here’s a photo of a kid approximately toddler-age appearing to enjoy a cold one during a recent Cleveland Browns tailgating party. Somebody must have just told him that Brandon Weeden is remaining the team’s starting quarterback. While there is no way for certain to confirm that the beer can this youngster is holding and tipping […]The post Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming...

Browns fans already giving up on Weeden, his job was put on Craigslist

Brandon Weeden returned to the game after Brian Hoyer was injured during the Buffalo Bills Thursday night game. Well after leading the Browns to a win against Buffalo and losing a game last week against Detroit it seems at least one fan has given up on him. That fan is 22 year old Seth Pae […]

Browns not making switch at QB

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski will not bench quarterback Brandon Weeden following Sunday's loss to Detroit. Weeden threw an interception in the fourth quarter of the 31-17 loss to the Lions, who outscored the Browns 24-0 in the second half. But Chudzinski said Weeden played ''well in spurts'' and he has no intention of making a switch to backup Jason Campbell...

No QB change coming for the Browns

Browns QB Brandon Weeden hasn’t been playing high level football. He may have had the ugliest interception of the season when he tried to backhand a pass against Detroit that eventually resulted in a TD. That was one of two interceptions on the day for Weeden. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that that doesn’t open the door for backup Jason Campbell. Chudzinski...

While We’re Waiting… Weeden’s blunder

Cleveland sports fans are waiting. Thus, while we’re all waiting, the WFNY editors thought you might enjoy reading. Because you never know how long we might be waiting. So here are assorted reading goodies for you to enjoy. Browns' Weeden Blocks Out Critics

Struggling quarterback Brandon Weeden threw an ugly interception that sealed the Browns' fate against Detroit last week.

Hysterical Craigslist job posting for Cleveland Browns QB

It isn't getting any better for Brandon Weeden, especially after he launched this pass last week against the Lions: The Cleveland Browns were having a bit of a renaissance when Brian Hoyer took over, but the offense is inept, once again, now that Weeden is back in a starting role. The team is back in the Tanking for Teddy sweepstakes, but one fan in the Cleveland area is willing...

Can the Browns give fans anything to believe in this year?

It’s a confusing time to be a Browns fan. I guess it’s always a confusing time to be a Browns fan, but this is a conundrum almost unlike any other since 1999. The Cleveland Browns might not be traditional trailblazers, but they do find new and interesting ways to confuse their fans. The Cleveland Browns are in contention right now, but they’re really not. Their record says...

Browns OL Joe Thomas: ‘Brandon Weeden can Lead Us to Playoffs’

It appeared that the Browns had given up on the 2013 season after an 0-2 start and trading RB Trent Richardson to the Colts.  Then Brian Hoyer came along and led the Browns to consecutive wins before he was injured in a Thursday night game vs. the Bills.  Brandon Weeden, who was the starter, came in the game and led the Browns to victory and first place in the AFC North. Despite...

NFL Fines Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh For Hit On Brandon Weeden

The NFL has fined Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh yet again, this time $31,500 for a hit that he put on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden. Ironically, the Lions were not penalized in last Sunday’s victory over the fine-worthy play. Being a disruptive character for the first few years of his career, he has brought a much deserved, yet almost unfair watch from...

NFL reviewing Ndamukong Suh's hit on Brandon Weeden

Ndamukong Suh again finds himself in the NFL's crosshairs. The Lions defensive tackle who has already been fined $100000 this season for an illegal block on Vikings' center John Sullivan could be facing more sanctions after a questionable hit on Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden last Sunday. The play wasn't flagged on the field but it didn't escape the watchful eye...

Suh Fined $31,500 For Hit on Brandon Weeden

NFL Fines supposedly go to charity. These charities could fund themselves for years based on Lions DT Ndamukong Suh’s fines. Suh has been fined again, this time for a hit on Brandon Weeden: Source close to Ndamukong Suh confirms that Suh has been fined $31,500 by the NFL for a hit on Browns QB Brandon Weeden — Mike O'Hara (@MikeOHaraNFL) October 16, 2013 We knew something...

Ndamukong Suh fined again.

Another week, another dirty hit by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. The Detroit Lions star defender was reportedly fined $31,500 for a hit on Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden last Sunday. Suh hit Weeden twice on Sunday, one of which involved Suh using his helmet to hit Weeden while making a tackle. This is the second time Suh has been fined this season and...
