Every year we see the "Cream of the Crop" come out of High School football and into Division I.  Some of these players will see success, some will flop and some will be in the NFL within the next three to five years. Then, some will also make an immediate impact on the team they sign with.  These are those players. There are some key players from the 2012 NCAA College Football ranks who need to be replaced.  These days, freshman are coming in more prepared to play right away.  And now they are giving Heismans to freshman as well.Out of the 10 players I have listed, five are quarterbacks.  One is a strong armed quarterback from the Pacific Northwest, another is the brother of Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and one who is the son of famous women's basketball player Sheryl Swoopes. One quarterback wants to help a program rebound from a terrible scandal, and one is going to a school who needs to replace its reputation after five seasons of mediocre play.College Football is a "win now" industry.  Teams are expected to perform up to par or higher faster and more often.  This makes these freshman very valuable to a program.Teams also don't need a top 25 class to be a successful program.  Look at Boise State, they sign players who fit the scheme that they run in Boise.  Who is the best fit?  That's what they look for in a player.  Kellen Moore was not a 5-star recruit coming out of high school, but he became the winningest quarterback in Division I history during his time at Boise State. These are my top ten high impact freshman.
