The Indianapolis Colts have made some moves and added former rugby star LB Daniel Adongo and OT Xavier Nixon, as well as putting RB Daniel Herron and LB Mario Harvey on the injured reserve. The former Rugby star project is now on the 53 man roster. Just in July, Daniel Adongo was learning how to put on a helmet. Now, he's on the active roster and takes that next big step in the NFL world. Adongo has slowly improved and has been using his rare athleticism to develop at the position. He's still extremely raw and a project, which means that he will most likely not see the field at all this field unless the Colts have several injuries at the linebacker spot. The Colts signed OT Xavier Nixon, who provides depth on an O-line that needs it. Nixon has been on the Colts' roster before, and most recently was on the Redskins' practice squad. The Colts also signed FB Robert Hughes to the active roster as well as signing defensive tackle Jerris Pendleton to the practice squad. The Colts also placed reserve running back Daniel Herron and reserve linebacker Mario Harvey on injured reserve.Harvey played in all 12 games this season and totaled 11 tackles and eight special teams stops. In two years with the Colts, he has appeared in 25 games, making 15 tackles (13 solo) and 15 special teams tackles. Herron was signed by the Colts from the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad on October 9, 2013. In six games this season, he recorded five rushes for 33 yards and one reception for 57 yards. He also contributed with six special teams tackles. The Colts continue to be active and are forced to make moves based on injury.
