The Indianapolis Colts will be without cornerback Vontae Davis this weekend when the take on the Green Bay Packers. Linebacker Dwight Freeney could also be unavailable, as he’ll be game-time decision Sunday.

The Colts never want to be without their top young cornerback Davis, but Week 5 may be especially poor timing as Indianapolis takes on a prolific Packers offense. The 24-year-old has been hampered by an ankle injury that will keep him out of Sunday’s contest, meaning the Colts will be without two of their top three cornerbacks. Nickleback Justin King, who’s suffering from a groin injury, is also listed as out.
Freeney has been sidelined since suffering a high-ankle sprain in the Colts’ season opener against the Chicago Bears. He was able to practice fully Wednesday and Thursday, but is being listed as a game-time decision after limited participation yesterday.

FOX played Soccer instead of Indianapolis Colts game

The Indianapolis Colts played the Green Bay Packers, if you got to see it you’re lucky as FOX here in Indiana did not have the Colts’ game on television but instead was playing Soccer. Barclays Premier League was being aired instead of football on a Sunday. I have nothing against Soccer, but it just seems like a strange call to me, what do you think?
