Cobra Brigade:
The Colts announced that Charlie Johnson, the backup at several O-Line positions, would be moved into the starting lineup at left tackle, replacing the underperforming Tony Ugoh. A lot of things are going well for the Colts right now. The D-Line situation seems to be improving. We have depth at both ends and what looks like a good rotation in the middle of the line in theory. Marlin Jackson is back and word is the knee is in good shape. All the news out of camp says the defense is Hell bent for leather. But this Ugoh thing is eating at me. We gave up a #1 in 08 to take Ugoh in 07 in the 2nd round and there was no apparent indication that he was sought after enough to make that kind of move. Not only that, but there were quality tailbacks, offensive linemen, and wideouts that could have contributed if they had been drafted in the 1st round of 08. If Ugoh is bust, he is a bust. I don't have a problem with that. Polian rarely misses and I will take a miss once in a while...
