Found April 17, 2013 on It's Always Sunny in Detroit:
When Andrew Luck signed his rookie contract after being selected first overall by the Colts in the 2012 NFL Draft, he had the world at his fingertips.  Last July, Luck inked a $22.1 million deal that included a guaranteed $14.5 million signing bonus and a $400,000 salary for the 2012 season. The world and a 2006 Samsung cell phone at his fingertips.  That’s right.  Despite the money, fame and a free cell phone with one phone call from his agent, Luck uses a beat up old phone that’s seven years old.  A little glitz, no glamour, but incredibly sturdy – just like Luck’s game. Colts backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck outted Luck on Twitter Tuesday. via Twitter via Twitter

Andrew Luck’s cell phone belongs in some kind of communications museum

From what I can glean from watching interviews, press conferences, and the like is that Colts QB Andrew Luck isn’t a flashy, in-your-face type of guy.  He doesn’t do a zillion commercials like his predecessor Peyton Manning, he doesn’t wed and impregnate (so far as I know) world famous supermodels like Tom Brady, and he doesn’t rock the body ink like Colin Kaepernick. Know...

Half-court shot for Hasselbeck number

Matt Hasselbeck recently moved between the AFC South, going from the Titans to Colts while maintaining his usual backup role. The 37-year-old quarterback is content with holding a clipboard, but is seemingly not OK with losing his No. 8, which he's worn since 2001. When he arrived in Indianapolis, he noticed the number was already taken by Chandler Harnish, last year...

Matt Hasselbeck was hoping for his No. 8 jersey when signing with the Indianapolis Colts last month. But first, he would have to convince teammate Chandler Harnish. 2013 NFL Schedule Released
