Despite being a full participant in practice this past week, Indianapolis RB Joseph Addai (hamstring) said he might not return to the lineup in Week 12 against Carolina. Addai has been inactive twice and dressed as an emergency back twice but not played because of the hamstring issue. "It's really that fine line, being smart,'' Addai told the Indianapolis Star. "(With a hamstring), you want to go out there and play .... but you have to be smart about it. You could be almost there, push it and set yourself back.'' Addai said he is receiving frequent treatments to combat the soreness in his hamstring. He initially suffered the injury against Kansas City on Oct. 9.
