One Jet At A Time:
We caught up with the Jets' 7th round selection, FB Tommy Bohanon out of Wake Forest, to get a better feel of what he can bring to this New York Jets squad.
Tommy first got the call when he was out with friends from Wake Forest and family at a bowling alley, and decribes it as "a surreal moment." "I couldn't believe the dream I've had since 5 years old was coming true."
On if he expected to be drafted: "From everything my agent had told me, I kind of expected to be drafted in the later rounds. So it was defintely a relief once I finally did get that call."
On if the Jets had expressed interested prior to the draft: "I think that there was always a little interest because I personally knew the scout that did our area. He came around a few times for games. At the combine there are two scouts that help out, and he was kind of the one directing us. So he was with us the whole time and talked, and developed a good relationship...

NEW YORK'S NOT MY HOME
After one tumultuous season, the Tim Tebow Experiment by the New York Jets has come to an end, with the team releasing the quarterback early on Monday morning.
According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, a source told him that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is “probably gone” soon. I know the Jets just might be naive enough to think they can still trade Tebow, but they need to face reality that they won’t be able to and stop wasting his time as well as their own and just get rid of him. The New York Jets signed undrafted safety Rontez Miles. The Jets have a lot of needs and not a lot of great athletes, Miles could be a good player for them this season. He started 43 games and was twice name an FCS All American at California (PA).
While Dee Milliner is the new prize catch, Miles may surprise and stick with the final cuts.

So it begins.
ESPN and other media outlets report that the New York Jets released little-used quarterback Tim Tebow this morning, leaving the team with five quarterbacks on the roster.
New York's little brother team might have cut less heralded Greg McElroy, Matt Simms, or, um. Mark Sanchez. Instead they excised the most useless outsider in NFL history.
Tim Tebow was officially released by the New York Jets. Where do you think he is headed now? Jacksonville? Canada? It's time to Settle It.
According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, Tim Tebow is opening up a restaurant down in Jacksonville, Florida.

It looks like Tebow has new job lined up outside of the NFL since he was just released by the Jets.

The New York Jets don't know what they're going to do with their quarterback situation, as now it's being reported that the Jets could keep Mark Sanchez and just simply DUMP Tim Tebow. The rumor started making the rounds after the Jets drafted West Virginia QB Geno Smith in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft on Saturday. With the added addition of Smith, the Jets...
In a move that surprised no one, the Jets released Tim Tebow. So ends one of the most bizarre moments in Jets history. As many of you know I haven’t been shy about saying that getting Tebow was a mistake and while so many thought the Jets were getting a winner, it was clear that it rattled Mark Sanchez and that Tebow turned out to be anything but what his press clippings said he...
With the New York Jets completely cleaning house this offseason, rookie quarterback Geno Smith could very well become the new face of the franchise to replace an embattled Mark Sanchez. Find out what New York's head coach and GM had to say about the Jets' QB battle and what lies ahead for the former West Virginia star
The first three rounds of the NFL provided a lot of intrigue, surprise and confusion. Let’s look at how the New York Jets among others shocked the world.
#1 Geno Smith Steals The Show
Geno Smith stole the show for two consecutive nights. On Thursday, it was thanks to his quit exit after he felt a certain way about not getting drafted in the first round.
Smith predicted that...
The New York Jets close out their draft, barring any other moves, by selecting 'Terminator 2.0' Tommy Bohanon.
If I didn't know any better, I'd think this draft was about getting the run game re-started with the Chris Ivory trade, three offensive linemen, and now a fullback. But more on that at another time.
For his career at Wake Forest, Bohanon recorded...
