Continuation in our series, following cornerback Eric Crocker's journey in training camp.
7/28, 6:13pm EST: Today was definitely different.
From strapping on the shoulder pads at 10am...to having to rush off the field because of the thunder storms.
We had a short delay before we got back after it, around 3:30pm.
I'm still trying new techniques that our coaches are teaching us. At corner on this team, you have to be technically sound, so that's been a big focal point of mine and the other players.
As far as practice went, fellow rookie, [wide receiver] KJ Stroud, got me on a deep route in 1-on-1s. Very disappointing for me because I take pride in 1-on-1s, and hate getting beat!
But, as a whole defense...looked much better with pads on. Sheldon Richardson jumped out to me with first glance.
Tomorrow is a new day, though. Another day to get better.
