Dallas Cowboy’s defensive coordinator Rob Ryan has a twin brother that loves to feed the media, perhaps Rob should stop drinking before he decides to chat with the media. Rob’s latest soundbite, the Cowboys aren’t worried about Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson. Really Rob?
Rob Ryan declared this week that the Cowboys receivers are better than Calvin Johnson. “We work against better receivers with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant. They are probably two of the premiere receivers in football, but this guy is right there. He’s almost that good. He’s excellent”, Ryan told the media.
Miles Austin and Dez Bryant are better than Calvin Johnson? I wouldn’t accept a straight up trade for the duo in exchange for Johnson. I can understand Ryan wanting to coach up his defense, but Calvin Johnson is going to shred the Cowboys defense and their porous defensive secondary.
This is the second time that Johnson was dissed in the media. ESPN analyst Chris Carter refused to list Calvin Johnson a...

Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan isn’t losing any sleep preparing to face Lions receiver Calvin Johnson on Sunday, because Ryan says his defense practices against better receivers than Johnson every day. “We work against better receivers with Miles Austin and Dez Bryant,” Ryan told the Dallas Morning News. Between Ryan’s two and Cris Carter’s six,…
ARLINGTON, Texas The Detroit Lions' offense must be headed to the Hall of Fame.
After all, they just beat "the best defensive personnel in football" on Sunday.
Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan might want to rethink that declaration and other boasts he made Friday, two days before a crushing, 34-30 loss to the Lions.
Granted, Tony Turnover played the biggest...

Thanks to this amazing catch by Calvin Johnson, the Lions are 4-0 for the first time since 1980. Detroit overcame a 20 point half time deficit for the second consecutive week, beating the Cowboys 34-30 on Sunday.
Mad props go to the Lions’ defense which forced Tony Romo into three interceptions, of which two were returned for a TD. I would recommend jumping...

As seen on LostMySports.comThoughts from Sunday… *Calvin Johnson AKA Megatron showed why he is the best WR in the NFL and made Rob Ryan eat his words…*Ryan didn’t complain.*You don’t want to play the Baltimore Ravens without your starting center.*Is it time to officially label Mark Sanchez as overrated?*Aaron Rodgers accounted for 6-touchdowns and the Packers remain a...
Cris Carter said something dumb about Calvin Johnson. Johnson then started the season in a manner that made Carter look worse. Now the former WR and ESPN analyst is finally giving the Lions star his due.
It’s hard to believe that the Cowboys are again facing a must win situation and it is only week 4 of the NFL season. The Cowboys will go into their bye week following Sunday’s matchup and can ill afford to enter the much needed time off with a loss when they have to go on the road two out of the next three weeks with trips to both New England and Philadelphia.
The defense stiffened. Matthew Stafford started hitting his targets, usually Calvin Johnson. All helped the 4-0 Lions come back from 24 down against the Cowboys. And Gregg Doyel can't forget the biggest contributor, Tony Romo.
Matthew Stafford saw his defense start wiping out a 24-point deficit with interceptions returned for touchdowns midway through the third quarter, then he and Calvin Johnson took over from there, leading the Detroit Lions to a stunning 34-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
