Todd Archer of Dallas Cowboy Report reports While the Cowboys continue to be patient with Mike Jenkins’ return to practice from a stinger, owner and general manager Jerry Jones expressed hope that Terence Newman could return for the Sept. 11 season opener against the New York Jets
Newman tweeted he would be ready to play against the Jets after suffering the injury Aug. 3 and was given an initial four-six week recovery period.
