The Dallas Cowboys have reached an agreement with rookie center Travis Frederick, according to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com. They now have all of their rookies signed from April's draft. The four-year deal has the usual option for a fifth that the team can exercise at a salary equal to the average of the 3rd-25th top-paid centers in the league. Frederick, selected 31st overall out of Wisconsin, comes into the league as the Cowboy's presumed starter, a designation that hasn't sat well with some fans and experts, but he's out to prove them wrong. “I can prove some people wrong,” Frederick said back in May. “The first thing I need to do is establish myself, establish myself as a worker, someone the guys can trust, somebody they believe in in the weight room and somebody they believe in on the practice field. After that, I think things start to come into place.” Per Rotoworld: 'Widely viewed as one of the draft's bigger reaches, Frederick ran with the first-team offense all offseason after owner Jerry Jones exclaimed in April that he "will start." Frederick lacks elite athleticism, but stands in at a powerful 6-foot-4, 312 pounds. He should at least be an upgrade on the Phil Costa/Ryan Cook merry-go-round.'
