Every year, there are injuries in the preseason. It’s inevitable. No matter how hard you try, guys are going to get hurt when you play 4 football games. You just have to hope they aren’t serious ones to serious players. One team hit a lot by injuries this preseason has been the Dallas Cowboys. Now they have another one to add to that list as nose tackle Jay Ratliff left their 3rd preseason game with what’s since been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. Ratliff, ProFootballFocus’ 7th ranked defensive tackle last year, is expected to miss 2-4 weeks, which puts his status for week 1 in serious doubt. The Cowboys might not see him until week 2 or 3. The Cowboys have suffered other injuries this preseason. Miles Austin has missed time with hamstring problems and, while he’s expected to play week 1, hamstring injuries tend to linger and Austin missed 6 games and was limited to just 43 catches for 579 yards and 7 touchdowns last year in the 10 games he did play because of hamstring problems....

40 Bold Predictions for the 2012-2013 NFL Season

This article will be similar to my "50 Crazy Predictions" I wrote prior to the start of the baseball season back on March, 31st. Looking back at that article I got some things right like #37 "John Axford will shave his mustache" but I also missed out on some things, including #14 "Matt Kemp has a 42/42 season."  I was high on certain players like...

Report: Dez Bryant rules came from Bryant’s camp

After learning of the Dez Bryant rules that were apparently mandated by the Cowboys, there was talk that the rules could violate the CBA. But according to 105.3 The Fan, the rules don’t actually violate the CBA. Mainly because the rules were not handed down by the Cowboys. Instead, it was Dez Bryant’s inner circle that created the rules and presented them to the Cowboys. Of course...

The oft-injured running back now appears to have lost his biggest asset — his burst through the hole. Jones has ceded a starting job...

According to reports, the wide receiver...

22 NSFW Dez Bryant Is A F*ckin’ Moron Tweets

By now we all know the deal with Dez Bryant and his new rules. The guy can’t go to strip clubs, has to be home by midnight, blah, blah, blah. It’s pretty sad that it’s come to this with Dez.
