Jerry Jones is not getting older. The owner of the Dallas Cowboys is as functional as ever.
“I’ve been told that I have, by CAT Scans, that it’s like the brain of a 40-year-old,” Jones told the Dallas Morning News. “…The guy really did not know it was me. I was there anonymously. He said, ‘And so I just wanted to come down. I saw your chart. I know how old you are. That part is really impressive.’”
While some fans may feel that the doctor who saw Jones should have his medical license revoked, the Cowboys owner took pride in the test.
“I know more about what I’m doing than hopefully I did 25 years ago,” he said, referring to the time he entered the NFL as an owner.
The Cowboys found success when Jones initially became an owner winning three Super Bowls in a four year span. Since then the Cowboys have fallen on hard times, winning just two playoff games in the last 17 years.
Perhaps Jerry was just jealous of the “secret sauce” that son Stephen Jones spoke about earlier t
BEST OF MAXIM
Yesterday, the former Cowboys safety and three-time Super Bowl champion Darren Woodson was asked what he thinks are the ingredients to winning in the NFL. His answer included two of the weakest areas on Dallas’ roster. “You have to win in the trenches,” Woodson said before the Cowboys Kickoff Luncheon at AT&T Stadium. “That’s the […]
WHAT'S IN IT?
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones thinks the team has what it takes to win championships, and it all starts with what he refers to as the "secret sauce."
I love A.J. Bouye ever since his time at UCF, but this kid had a play in which he regrets, but was awesome. I don’t care if you are a Cowboys fan or not, what he did was great, because up until this point, he didn’t know if his job was safe with the Houston […]
According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, there’s been some tension between Jay Ratliff and the Dallas Cowboys strength and conditioning staff, which likely explains why he ended up on the PUP list to begin the upcoming regular season.
Jay Ratliff hinted that he has issues with the Dallas Cowboys’ strength and conditioning staff on Wednesday, one day after the defensive...
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones bragged about his brains. Jerry is 70 years old and well, we'll let you see what he has to say.
While fans alike believe the last preseason game is meaningless, that was not the case for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Alex Tanney.
Currently the No. 3 quarterback, Tanney has bounced around the NFL in a short period of time.
With everything on the line, Tanney finished 17-31 for 177 yards including an interception. Sacked six times he took three of the six on a two-minute drive...
The Dallas Cowboys finished the 2012 season with an 8-8 record, once again missing the playoffs. However, this team has high hopes for the 2013-2014 season.
Most of the Cowboys offseason moves this year were made on the coaching staff; signing Monte Kiffin to be their defensive coordinator and giving the play calling responsibilities to offensive coordinator Bill Callahan.
ARLINGTON Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said both the NFL and the former players received a "great deal" on Thursday when the league reached a 765 million deal in concussion lawsuits with 4,500 ex-players.
"The players that have been impacted and the players that could be potentially impacted, will get the money rather than the attorneys,"...
Here are a few related items that we must all fit on to a Wednesday or we won't get to everything this week.

The Dallas Cowboys fought with OL Doug Free over a pay cut over the offseason, but they are happy they were able to work out a deal and not cut the veteran. In one of the more surprising moves of the preseason, Free moved from tackle to guard (a position he has never played at any level of football) and is doing so well that the team is considering keeping him there for good.
The final preseason game is usually a going-through-motion affair for most NFL teams. It's even moreso for the Dallas Cowboys, who have already played four of these practice games.
So what's there to look for in Thursday's Lone Star State battle with the Houston Texans?

ARLINGTON Before stopping to be interviewed after Thursday night's preseason finale, Dez Bryant walked past reporters in the Dallas Cowboys locker room and said he wasn't going to take any questions about Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel being suspended for the first half of the Aggies' season opener on Saturday.
"I'm glad he's playing," said...
Just a day after being placed on the physically unable to perform reserve list with hamstring and groin issues, defensive tackle Jay Ratliff made some comments that hinted the possibility that he is unhappy with the way the Dallas Cowboys strength and conditioning staff are handling his rehab process, according to ESPNDallas.
In 2012 Ratliff underwent season ending surgery to repair...
If Alex Tanney never plays for the Cowboys again, this is what he’ll probably remember from Thursday night’s game against the Texans.
Just my opinion, but watching tonight’s game was worse than watching the Pro Bowl. It was far worse than watching the Hall of Fame Game.
Alex Tanney threw 31 passes but spent much of the game picking himself off the AT&T Stadium carpet. The...
The Dallas Cowboys are the new San Diego Chargers. By that, I mean, the Cowboys are a chronically underachieving team, but they’ve bought into the rebirth mantra that owner Jerry Jones has been preaching, and frankly, they should.
The Cowboys play in a very competitive division, but it’s not necessarily the best in football. Every team in the NFC East has a legitimate opportunity...
