Cowboys LB Keith Brooking Not Sure If He's Played His Last Game

Linebacker Keith Brooking said he’s thought about whether this was his last year in the NFL, but he said it doesn’t yet feel like he’s played his last game. “This doesn’t feel like my last game, but I understand that I’ll be 37 next year, and I’m sure people won’t just be knocking down my door to sign me,” he said after the Cowboys’ 31-14 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night. “I feel like I can play, and we’ll see how that goes. I had a great time here. Obviously, we didn’t finish. We didn’t do what I thought we could do as a football team, but I love these teammates, and they mean a lot to me. I met some really good guys here, some friends that hopefully I’ll talk to for a vey long time. “And I can’t thank the Jones family enough for bringing me here and allowing me to be part of this unbelievable franchise, and I just wish we could have finished the job, but we couldn’t do it.”
