The Cowboys signed free agent Mackenzy Bernadeau to be one of their starting offensive guards, but they really wont know what they can expect from him until they actually see him on the field. Bernadeau signed a four-year, $11 million contract in March, but in mid-May he had surgery to repair a tear in his right hip. Hes one of five players the Cowboys have placed on the physically unable to perform list. Over the last three days, Bernadeau has worked on the side rehabbing with an athletic trainer during pre-camp practices at Valley Ranch. Hes been working with resistance cords and says he hasnt felt any pain. Im day to day right now, Bernadeau said. Im feeling confident with how things are going so far. Im just trying to get back as soon as possible, get my leg strength back. My range of motion is feeling good. My flexibility is doing good. Its going to take a while to get my leg strength back.

I want to be a Dallas Cowboys Geek
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the Dallas Cowboys in my life. My father was a Dallas Cowboys fan, my grandmother was even a Dallas Cowboys fan, but at the time, I was too young to know what that meant. I remember my grandmother, when asked her name, would always say “Irvin, like Michael Irvin, except no relation.” I had no idea who he was, the Dallas Cowboys...

Dallas Cowboys Glory Holes: A Retrospective
America’s Team has lost its way in the last decade-plus. Most people recognize that, but it still means a lot for Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to say that he pines for the return of the rich Cowboys traditions of the past. Part of that was when the Cowboys were winning playoff games and even Super Bowls. That’s not all of it, though. There’s more to the Cowboys mystique than...
Cowboys Rookie SS Matt Johnson Set To Come Off PUP List
Matt Johnsons stay on the physically unable to perform list was a short one. The rookie safety, who was drafted on the fourth round, will have his name removed Monday, when the full team has its first training camp practice. Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett acknowledged that quite a few players failed their conditioning tests on the first day of camp.
