After finally getting back to health last week, Felix Jones hurt his left knee in the first half against the Browns, then continued to play in the second half with a lot of heart, owner Jerry Jones said.
Saw a lot of heart, saw him running hard, Jones said. This is a good sign. Came back out and played, played on that. Knowing Felix, which if anybody can go when it normally would limit, he can go. It wouldnt surprise me to see him ready to go Thursday.
Jones finished with 14 carries for 43 yards. He was not in the game in the late stages, when the Cowboys were driving for a game-tying field goal and in overtime.
Had a lot of snaps with it after it started bothering him, Jerry Jones said. It was not late in the game. It was before the half that he came back out and played. It didnt look to me like it limited him at all, but its there.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said last week Jones looked as healthy as he has all season.
But if Jones is slow on Thursday, it heightens the concern about whether DeMarco Murray is ready to play.
I dont know, Jerry Jones said, asked about Murrays availability. But I was certainly impressed with what I saw with the Redskins against Philadelphia. So there certainly is no saving anything against the Redskins for this team. Source: Star-Telegram Attached Thumbnails

Cowboys reach .500, still not on solid ground
Forget everything you've read or heard about this being the easy part of the schedule for the Cowboys.
After the Cowboys needed overtime to beat a bad Browns team, 23-20, it's clear that nothing will be easy for this team. They've improved their record to .500, but show few signs of improvement anywhere else.
Every game will be a challenge because the Cowboys simply...
Jerry Jones deflects Holmgren rumors: “We’re good friends”
Cleveland did everything to give Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but Jerry Jones didn’t give away any info at all regarding the growing Mike Holmgren speculation.
However, with Holmgren in Dallas to watch his Browns take on America’s team, the two spent time as they always do when their worlds cross. Jason Garrett may have bought himself a little more time in the victory...
Tyron Smith, DeMarco Murray not expected to play Thursday
Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith and running back DeMarco Murray didn’t participate in practice on Monday and aren’t expected to play on Thanksgiving against the Redskins.
The Cowboys really missed both Smith and Moray yesterday’s close win over the Browns.

Winning in spite of clear shortcomings
In an effort to take my own advice, I would like to remind any and all that the ugliest win in the world is better than the prettiest defeat. Also, that wins are very difficult to find in this league, so the last thing you want to do is to get picky about how aesthetically pleasing to the eye a victory might be.
But, wow. Nothing comes easy for your 2012 Dallas Cowboys. And they...
Cowboys Expected To Be Without DeMarco Murray & Tyron Smith
Jimmy Burch of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray and LT Tyron Smith both sat out of practice on Monday and are expected to miss Thursday’s game against the Redskins.
Murray has already missed a number of weeks with a foot injury and Smith went down with an ankle injury during Sunday’s win over Cleveland.
Felix Jones will get another start...

Josh Cribbs gets tackled by his hair
Some guys just can’t live without their long hair. I’ve never understood why wide receivers or running backs would want to have long hair, but maybe I just don’t appreciate a good set of dread locks the way I should. During the Dallas Cowboys’ overtime win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Josh Cribbs was dragged down by his dreadlocks on what looked like a painful tackle...

Jerry Jones Pleased with the Cowboys O-Line
I’m not sure what Jerry Jones was looking at on Sunday, but I have to chalk his latest statements up to optimism and the joy of his Dallas Cowboys escaping Sunday with a win against the Cleveland Browns.
Whatever the reason was, Jones was in a complimentary mood Sunday evening. While addressing the media Sunday, Jones blurted out that he was more than pleased with the performance...
Cowboys turn quickly to Redskins, RG3's visit
Dallas played a long game, and now faces a short week.
And Washington's Robert Griffin III is on his way in for the most appropriate of Thanksgiving games: Cowboys vs. Redskins.
It's safe to say the sigh of relief was brief for Dallas after Sunday's 23-20 overtime win against last-place Cleveland.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said the team would enjoy a wild rally against...
Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys: Hero and Zero of the Game
Hero: Dez BryantFor the first time all season, Dez Bryant was able to put up great numbers without having an asterisk attached to his performance (*he dropped three passes, *dropped the game-tying 2-point conversion, *fumbled a punt). Bryant was un-coverable for the Cleveland secondary, finishing the game with 12 catches for 145 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers could have been...

Week 11 of the 2012 NFL season kicked off Thursday night with the Buffalo Bills running over the Miami Dolphins.
