Say this for Dallas Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray - he's a team player.
Murray reiterated his stance that he's "excited" about the potential return of running back Felix Jones, even if it comes at his own expense. On Sunday, the Cowboys (5-4) face the skidding NFC East rival Washington Redskins (3-6), who have lost five in a row.
Murray has flourished since Jones suffered a high ankle sprain, rushing for at least 135 yards in three of the four games as a starter.
"I'm very excited," Murray said of sharing carries with Jones. "I have always had to share. It's not new to me. Last year was my only year at Oklahoma where I was the full-time guy. So I'm very excited to get Felix back and very happy he is back."
For his part, Jones is very appreciative of what Murray has done in his absence.
