Rumors are starting to circulate the Dallas Cowboys are considering cutting or trading running back Tashard Choice. If Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and head coach Jason Garrett have any sense at all, they will keep the fourth-year back and utilize him heavily this season. That’s not to say the team should completely and totally disregard second-year running back Lonyae Miller, but Choice is a proven NFL back and Dallas would be wise to not only keep him, but make him a primary contributor to the offense. Choice has had little opportunity to show he’s capable of handling the Cowboys’ rushing duties, but has really taken advantage of those few chances. In just two games where he was the primary back, Choice reach at least 90 yards on less than 20 carries and found the end zone in each contest.
