Cowboys' second-round pick LB Bruce Carter will practice with the team for the first time Wednesday, reports The Dallas Morning News . Carter, who has been recovering from a torn ACL, is finally healthy and eligible to come off the non-football injury list. "It's exciting because we haven't seen him," Garrett said. "He's been working very hard on his own on the side. We're pleased where his conditioning is and where he is physically. He has to integrate himself as a football player. He'll get a chance to do that this week. We'll see him practice and we'll see how he's doing, how confident he is on the knee and hopefully slowly get him intergrated into our defensive system and also into our kicking game and see if he'll make a contribution for us."
